Belgian Royal Family Celebrates National Day

Today, Wednesday July 21, the Belgian Royal Family attended the National Day celebrations.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde together with Princess Elisabeth, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eleonore, attended the traditional Te Deum at the Saint Michael and St Gudula Cathedral in Brussels.
Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz attend the Te Deum at the Saint Quint’s Cathedral in Hasselt while Prince Laurent was at the Collegiale Sainte-Waudru in Mons.
Queen Mathilde wore a silk muslin cape dress by Natan Couture matched with a Fabienne Delvigne hat and a clutch.
Princess Elisabeth wore an orange floral fabric dress with balloon sleeves by Natan Couture matched with a Fabienne Delvigne hat and a clutch both in orange.
In the afternoon the Belgian Royal Family was present at the traditional military parade held at the Place des Palais.
This year’s military parade was marked by two news: Princess Elisabeth took part in the military parade as a cadet of the Royal Military Academy and marched in front of her proud parents; for the first time at the military parade was also present Princess Delphine who was recognized as the daughter of King Albert II.
Later the King and the Queen, accompanied by their children, paid visit to Farra-Clerlande, a residence for adults with mental disability, and the National MS Center, a center for neurological disorders.
