Princess Beatrice marries Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in small ceremony
Due to Coronavirus social distancing guidelines, Princess Beatrice married her fiancee Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi during a small ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor.
Two official photographs were released by Buckingham Palace; taken by photographer Benjamin Wheeler. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh were some of the guests at the intimate ceremony, which was originally meant to have occurred on 29 May at the Chapel Royal in St. James’s Palace, London.
Beatrice wore a vintage Norman Hartnell dress loaned to her by the Queen, who wore it at the premiere of the Lawrence of Arabia movie in 1962.
The couple have known each other since 2018, and were engaged a year later in Italy, where Edoardo originates from. Edoardo comes from an old Italian aristocratic family and is currently working as a property developer.
