Belgian King and Queen Visit Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium
Tuesday May 19, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde paid a visit to the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium to mark the reopening of the museum after the 2 months of closure following the outbreak of COVID-19.
During the visit the Royal Couple toured the exhibition of the masterpieces by Rogier van der Weyden, Petrus Christus, Dirk Bouts, Hans Memling, Hieronymus Bosch, Lucas Cranach and Gerard David.
Michel Draguet, director of the museum, informed the King and the Queen about the measures that the museum had to take in order to manage the COVID-19 crisis.
