Back to work for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

The Duchess of Cambridge went back to work on January 15 when she visited Bradford with her husband, the Duke of Cambridge, in West Yorkshire.

The couple visited the Bradford Khidmat Centre, where they joined a session of the Older Yet Wiser project, which supports grandparents who look after young children. The classes are led by a “monkey puppet” who encourages the grandparents and parents to sing with their children.

Eighteen-month-old Sorayah Ahmed enjoyed a cuddle from the Duchess, and stole the show as Kate took her into her arms and joined in with singing the songs to little Sorayah.

During the visit, Kate revealed she is a keen knitter and has attempted to make a jumper for her six-year-old son Prince George, though it “splattered”. Previously, the couple visited City Hall, where the Duke of Cambridge spoke to local entrepreneurs involved with Aston Villa, the team he is said to support.
