The Duchess of Sussex is the guest editor for September’s edition of British Vogue, stating that she aims to “swap the superficial focus of the fashion industry to pages of positivity, kindness, humour and inclusivity”.

Meghan has written a letter in the beginning of the edition, and has chosen fifteen women as ‘Forces for Change’ on the front cover – Jane Fonda, Salma Hayek Pinault, Laverne Cox, Jameela Jamil, Yara Shahidi and Gemma Chan, alongside models Christy Turlington Burns, Adwoa Aboah and Adut Akech. Ramla Ali, Sinead Burke, Francesca Hayward, Jacinda Ardern, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Greta Thurnberg have also been chosen by the Duchess.

The cover also includes a mirror, which plans to inspire readers to think about their own “Forces for Change”.

Before she became engaged to Prince Harry, Meghan ran a blog entitled “The Tig” where she posted lifestyle articles related to her former Instagram page.
