Wessex Family Visit Zoo in Bristol
On July 23, the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children participated in an engagement at The Wild Place, a zoo in Bristol.
The Earl of Wessex is patron of the Bristol Zoological Society, which helps conserve endangered species and educates others about animals and endangerment. The Wild Place is a new project ran by the society, along with Bristol Zoo Gardens. The society also works abroad to preserve natural habitats and save animals that are endangered.
In June 2016, the Wessex family also visited the zoo, so it wasn’t a first for 15 year-old Lady Louise Windsor and her brother, the Viscount Severn (11). The family watched the animals in the crowds and were able to feed them whilst they also met with guests who were invited to join them for the engagement.
