Last Day in South Korea for Philippe and Mathilde
Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians started the fourth and final day of the state visit with a visit to the Jeon Jin Sang Medical Centre. The centre was founded in 1975 by the
Belgian Dr. Marie-Helene Brasseur with the purpose to assist low income people in south-west Seoul.
Then the Royal Couple was present at the official opening of the Belgian Life Festival. The festival is co-hosted by the Flemish Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, the local government, and the Belgian Food Industry Association and will run until March 30.
The festival showcases Belgian food, beverages, music, diamonds and arts.
Then the Royal Couple separated their program. The King attended a investment lunch with Korean and Belgian investors. In the meantime the Queen was present at a luncheon focused on mental health
and well-being.
