Crown Princess Victoria and family celebrate name day
On March 12, it was Crown Princess Victoria’s name day, which was celebrated with an official ceremony in the courtyard of the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden.
Name days in Sweden have as much of a significance to individuals as birthdays do and are celebrated in a similar fashion. Victoria’s name day falls on every March 12 in Sweden.
Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar were also present at the event with Crown Princess Victoria, who listened to a performance by the Southern Skane Regiment at the start of the ceremony.
