On February 13, the Duchess of Cambridge attended a conference at Mercers Hall in London in aid of the Royal Foundation’s ‘Mental Health in Education’ programme.

Delegates from the mental health and education sectors were present at the conference, where she said “and as we have heard today, it is therefore vital that we support teachers with their own wellbeing so that they can find the best level of care for all children, in their schools and communities in which they work”.

Kate also participated in a discussion panel, where she took part in various sessions discussing mental health support in education. She also met with head teachers from a number of schools across the country who are advocating the Royal Foundation’s “Mentally Healthy Schools” programme.

The programme is collaborating with Heads Together, the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, Place2Be and Young Minds.
