Dutch State Visit to The United Kingdom: Day Two
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima began their second and last day of the visit with a business breakfast at the residence of the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Mr. Charles Bowman. The Earl and Countess of Wessex were present as well. During the meeting they were informed about some examples of commercial solutions that Dutch and British companies and knowledge institutions offer for societal challenges.

Then the King and the Queen, along with the Earl and the Countess of Wessex and the Duke of Kent, attended a demonstration on the Thames of Dutch and British Marine Corps together to mark the 45th anniversary of the Dutch-British military unit UK / NL Amphibious Force that work together in the field of peace and security.

Afterwards the Royal Couple and the Earl and the Countess of Wessex paid a visit to the POP Brixton in the South London district of Brixton. POP Brixton “an original project that supports local jobs, training and enterprise” by providing space for start-ups and social projects.
At lunchtime The King and the Queen were received by Prime Minister Theresa May at her official residence, 10 Downing Street, for a lunch.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima then returned to Buckingham Palace to be farewelled by Queen Elizabeth.
