Princess Jacinthe d’Orleans, the youngest daughter and child of the Duke and Duchess Vendôme, was baptised at the Eglise de Saint-Pierre in Dreux today, having just been born on October 8.

The newborn princess’s godparents are Prince Charles-Philippe of Orleans, the Duchess of Gramont, Princess Maria-Immaculata of Lichtenstein, the Princess of Arenberg and Count Herve de Solages.

The Duchess of Vendôme commented that “Jacinthe is doing wonderfully well. She is very beautiful and her brothers and sisters are delighted”, and also that she was named after Saint Jacinta Marto, who was canonised within the Catholic church. Her full name is Jacinthe Elisabeth Marie-Charlotte.
