Back To Work For The Duchess of Cambridge
On October 2, the Duchess of Cambridge performed her first official engagement since taking maternity leave after the birth of Prince Louis in April, visiting children at Sayers Croft Forest School and wildlife garden in Paddington, London.
The children and the Duchess hunted for “mini beasts” together, when Kate commented that she does the same activities with her older children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The project that collaborates with the school aims to give inner city children a chance to explore the natural world and natural environments around them. Before she went to see the children at Sayers Croft, well-wishers greeted her in the crowds.
Zoe Stroud, the interim head of Sayers Croft, said that the Duchess “really understands the value of being outdoors for children, especially those in cities whose schools and homes may not have open space and sometimes never had the chance to get their hands dirty. They just love it here.”
