On September 6, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who was wearing a blue dress by Jason Wu, attended the music gala 100 Days to Peace in aid of Help for Heroes as well as Combat Stress and Heads Together.
The Royal Armouries presented the concert, which also marked the centenary of the end of World War One. The former head of the British army, Lord Dannatt, was also present. Lord Dannatt had organised Prince Harry’s military service in Afghanistan and was also a guest at his wedding to the then Meghan Markle in May 2018.
Various pieces of music were performed and poems read throughout the night; including Samuel Bordoli’s The Great Silence, which was written in memory for those who died in World War One in aid of the charity Remembered, who constructed an art instillation entitled There But Not There.
