Welcome to the world Lena Tindall!

On 18 June, Zara Tindall gave birth to her second child, a girl named Lena Elizabeth Tindall at the Stroud Maternity Unit; weighing 9lb 3oz.

Zara’s husband Mike took to Twitter upon announcing his daughter’s name; correcting his followers by stating that they pronounced Lena as “lay-nah” and that it was also “just a name they liked”. Elizabeth is after the baby’s great-grandmother Elizabeth II.

Lena Tindall is 19th in line to the British throne and is a younger sister of Mia Grace, who was born in January 2014. Their parents married in July 2011 at the Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland.
