Dutch Royals Attend the Red Ribbon Concert
Yesterday, Wednesday May 16, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, along with Princess Mabel, were present at the Red Ribbon Concert held at the AFAS Live concert hall in Amsterdam.
The Red Ribbon Concert was organized in connection with the upcoming AIDS 2018, the International AIDS Conference that will take place on July 23-27, 2018 in Amsterdam.
Prior to the concert the Royal Couple and Princess Mabel paid a visit to a pop-up mobile exhibition. This exhibition, that will travel through the Netherlands, shows “the personal stories and portraits of people who were affected in one way or another by HIV and AIDS”.
Princess Mabel has been involved for some years in the global fight against HIV/AIDS and in November 2017 she received the World Without Aids Award for her “unremitting commitment” against HIV/AIDS.
