Successful Heart Surgery For Moroccan King
The King of Morocco has undergone successful heart surgery in Paris, the Moroccan Royal Court announced on Tuesday.
The operation, who was performed by a team of six doctors at the Ambroise Pare Clinic, was a radio frequency ablation, which was performed on King Mohammed VI after he was found to have an atrial flutter, which causes the heart to beat less efficiently (but is not life-threatening).
King Mohammed will take some time to recuperate before returning to his normal schedule of activities.
