New Details Announced For Harry and Meghan’s Windsor Wedding
Further details have been announced today by Kensington Palace for the May 19 nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The couple’s wedding ceremony, held at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, will begin at noon conducted by the Dean of Windsor, David Conner. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, will then officiate the vows.
Following the ceremony, the bridge and groom will take part in a carriage procession from the Chapel through Windsor Town, before returning to Windsor Castle along the Long Walk for their reception in St George’s Hall. The route of the carriage procession has yet to be announced, but Harry and Meghan “hope this short journey will provide an opportunity for more people to come together around Windsor and to enjoy the atmosphere of this special day”.
In the evening, a private reception is to be hosted by the Prince of Wales for close family and friends of the couple.
