Prince Henrik Admitted To Hospital Following Egyptian Trip
83-year-old Prince Henrik of Denmark was admitted to hospital in Copenhagen on Sunday night, the Danish Royal Court has confirmed.
The Prince, who was diagnosed with dementia last year, was originally hospitalised last week during a vacation in Egypt. He returned to Denmark, and was admitted to Rigshospitalet for further tests.
“We have at present nothing further to add to the press announcement. The Prince has returned home safely and is now admitted to Rigshospitalet and will in the following days go through a series of tests,” the Danish Royal Court’s Head of Communications, Lene Balleby, said to TV2.
