Jordanian Royals To Attend WEF in Davos
Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Queen Rania and Crown Prince Hussein are expected to participate in the World Economic Forum annual meeting that will take place in Davos, Switzerland between January 23-26.
According to a Royal Court statement, King Abdullah II is to meet with leaders and representatives of the participating countries, including King Felipe VI of Spain and King Philippe of Belgium, as well as the Presidents of France and Poland, and the German Chancellor. The King will also participate in a panel discussion with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria.
ِِAlthough Queen Rania is a regular participant in the WEF annual meeting alongside the King, the statement did not reveal any details about her activities at the event this year.
The couple’s elder son, Crown Prince Hussein, made his first participation at the WEF meetings last summer when he delivered his country’s welcoming speech at the event that was held in Jordan -Dead Sea.
