Bring It On: Prince Daniel Plays Table Tennis During Visit To STIGA Sports
Prince Daniel visited STIGA Sports in Eskilstuna on Friday, where he eagerly agreed to play a game of table tennis against a young boy.
The Prince praised young David as a great player, saying that he may be “the next J-O”, referring to Swedish table tennis champion Jan-Ove Waldner. Daniel also tested some air hockey tables during his tour of the factory, which is the one of the largest producers of table tennis tables globally.
Later, Daniel had a meeting with managers from the company, to discuss further cooperation between STIGA Sports and Generation Pep (GEN-PEP), the organisation the Prince developed to “spread knowledge and engage both people and organisations in a joint effort to make it easier for children and young people to live a healthy life”. STIGA Sports is one of GEN-PEP’s partners.
