Queen Mathilde To Visit Ghana For UN Sustainable Development Goals
The Belgian Royal Court has confirmed Monday that Queen Mathilde will be paying a visit to Ghana in February in conjunction with her role as an advocate of the United Nations’s Sustainable Development Goals.
She will be joined by the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development Cooperation, Alexander De Croo. They will visit local projects that pay “special attention to quality education, good health (including mental health) and economic empowerment of women”.
The Queen’s visit will take place between February 7 and 9.
