Mette-Marit Wows In Red At Sports Gala 2018

The Crown Princess of Norway looked fabulous in a red chiffon frock on Saturday evening as she attended the Sports Gala 2018 at Hamar’s Olympic Amphitheatre alongside her husband, Crown Prince Haakon.

Mette-Marit’s frock featured a flowing skirt that came to her mid-calf and sheer sleeves, which she wore with a pair of red lace stilettos and large diamond cluster earrings.

During the evening, the Crown Prince Couple took to the stage to present the year’s ‘Enthusiastic Soul’ award to Terje Våg, from Snåsa IL. Other award winners of the evening were Karsten Warholm (track and field), who took home three awards: Male Athlete of the Year, Name of the Year (which is voted by the Norwegian public), and the Athlete’s Prize (which is voted by the Norwegian athletes); Bjarte Myrhol was Role Model of the Year; Marit Bjørgen was named Female Athlete of the Year; and Egil ‘Drillo’ Olsen was awarded the Honorary Award for 2018.
