Swedes Host Representation Dinner at Royal Palace
On Thursday evening, the King and Queen of Sweden hosted the third representation dinner of the year at the Royal Palace of Stockholm, attended by around 150 guests from a cross-section of Swedish society.
Also attending the dinner were Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia – who debuted a modified version of her wedding tiara, without the emerald spikes. Crown Princess Victoria was not present, as she is currently in Germany.
Guests were greeted in the White Hall before moving into Karl XI’s Gallery for a dinner consisting of mussels with cauliflower, buttered cod with vegetables and white wine sauce, roast fillet with sprouts and chilli, and a cognac flambé for dessert.
