An official welcoming ceremony took place at the Istana, where Prince Charles and the Duchess met with President Halimah Yacob. Charles and Camilla later visited the Cenotaph in the Singaporean capital, laying wreaths at the base in memory of Singaporean military personnel who have given their lives in service to their country.
It was then on to seperate engagements for the afternoon: the Prince met with religious leaders and went on a tree-top walk through the gorgeous MacRitchie Reservoir Park. Camilla meanwhile met students who participated in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition.
The couple ended their day with a state dinner at the Presidential Palace hosted by President Yacob.
