Queen Mathilde Visits the Exhibition “Christo and Jeanne-Claude. Urban Projects”
Yesterday, Tuesday October 24, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde paid a visit to the exhibition “Christo and Jeanne-Claude. Urban Projects” held at the ING Art Center in Brussels.
The exhibition is a retrospective of the urban projects created by Christo and Jeanne-Claude between 1962 and 2005 and it consists in a selection of about eighty original works – sketches, sketches, collages and models.
Christo and Jeanne-Claude were a married couple of artists who worked together until the death of Jeanne-Claude in 2009. Queen Mathilde was accompanied by Christo himself during a tour of the exhibition.
The exhibition will be open from today, October 25, until February 28, 2018.
