At the Ermita del Santo Cristo de la Vera Cruz in Marbella, Spain on Saturday September 2nd, Princess Marie-Gabrielle of Nassau wed her love Antonius Willms in a religious ceremony in front of 300 guests.
The bride, who is the only daughter of Prince Jean of Luxembourg and his first wife Hélène Vestur, wore a wedding gown designed by Lorenzo Caprile that featured thousands of Swarovski crystals and silk flowers on the train, and a diamond and sapphire diadem from her paternal family’s jewel vaults.
Among the guests were members of the Luxembourg Grand Ducal Family, the Liechtenstein Princely Family, the Habsburg dynasty, the Belgian Royal Family, and the German nobility.
Princess Marie-Gabrielle and Atonius – known as ‘Tono’ – were civilly married in a ceremony back in May.
