Swedish Royals Celebrate Crown Princess Victoria’s 40th Birthday
On July 14th, celebrations were held in Stockholm for Crown Princess Victoria’s fortieth birthday.
The celebrations started with a Te Deum at the Royal Chapel of the Royal Palace of Stockholm. Afterwards, Crown Princess Victoria and her family received their guests and then gathered for a family photo inside the palace.
Afterwards, Crown Princess Victoria and her family rode in a carriage though the city whilst the rest of the family waited for them to arrive at the palace balcony.
Members of the family who attended the event were King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia and their son Prince Alexander, Princess Madeleine, Chris O’Neill with their children Princess Leonore and Prince Nicolas, Princesses Birgitta, Désirée, Christina and Christina’s husband Tord Magnuson, Prince Daniel’s parents Ewa and Olle Westling, the Magnuson family, Count Bertil and Countess Jill Bernadotte and Countess Marianne Bernadotte.
Afterwards the family flew to Bornholm for the traditional ‘Victoriadagen’ concert at the sports arena.
