George and Charlotte To Join Parents On Poland-Germany Visit
Kensington Palace has today released the program for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s upcoming visit to Poland and Germany, revealing that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be accompanying their parents.
The two youngsters however are likely to only be seen upon the family’s arrival in Poland, and their departure from Germany.
During the five-day visit, William and Catherine will spend the first two days in Poland, where they will meet President Andrzej Duda, visit the Warsaw Rising Museum and the Heart in the Warsaw Spire for a meeting with Polish entrepreneurs, tour the Stutthof Concentration Camp, and end in Gdansk on a tour of the Gdansk Shakespeare Theatre and the European Solidarity Centre.
In Germany, the couple will meet with both Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, visit the Brandenburg Gate, tour the Holocaust Memorial, see the work of youth charity Strassenkinder, spend time in Heidelberg where they will participate in a rowing race, attend a reception at Clärchens Ballhaus, and spend the last day in Hamburg with a visit to the city’s Maritime Museum, enjoy a performance of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra at Elbphilharmonie, and cruise down the River Elbe to the factory of Airbus.
In both countries they will attend a ‘Queen’s Birthday Party’ hosted by the respective British Ambassador.
