Belgian Royal Family Visit Mercator Museum Ship
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians took their four children on a visit to the Mercator Museum Ship in Ostend on Saturday.
Princess Elisabeth, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eléonore all showed great interest as they were shown around the ship’s decks.
The ship was formerly a training ship of the Belgian merchant fleet, with sailing years between 1932 and 1961, upon which time it became a floating museum in Antwerp before it was moved to Ostend three years later.
