King Philippe and Queen Mathilde Enjoy Final Concert of Queen Elisabeth Music Competition
The King and Queen of the Belgians were present in the Royal Box at the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts on Thursday evening for the final concert of this year’s Queen Elisabeth Music Competition.
Performing were the top three laureates of this competition, this year held for cellists for the first time. Victor Julien-Laferrière from France was named the winner of the competition earlier this week; Yuya Okamoto from Japan came second, and Santiago Cañon-Valencia from Colombia third.
