Just Like A Baby! Queen Mathilde Feeds The Cows During Farm Visit

The Queen of the Belgians got her hands dirty while touring two farms in the Namur province on Tuesday – she was given the opportunity to feed some calves while at Ferme de Coux.

With a huge grin on her face, Queen Mathilde – in a white and green dress with an orange poppy print around the skirt – offered the calves a bottle of milk which they greedily tucked into. Ferme de Coux, which employs a large portion of female farmers, has a special focus on cattle breeding.

It was then over to the second farm of the day, Petite Campagne, for a tour and a taste-test of products (cheese!) made at the farm.
