The Duchess of Vendôme Turns Forty

The Duchess of Vendôme today celebrates her fortieth birthday.

She was born as Philomena de Tornos y Steinhart in Vienna in 1977 to parents of Spanish and Austro-Hungarian ancestry. In March 2009, Philomena civilly wed Prince Jean of Orléans, Duke of Vendôme ahead of a religious ceremony that May.

Philomena and Jean have four children: Gaston, Antoinette, Louise-Marguerite, and Joseph. They live in Dreux, France.
