Denmark’s Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary – 50 years – on June 10, and to mark the occasion, the pair unveiled a statue in the private gardens of Fredensborg Palace today.

The Prince, a keen artist, designed the statue himself and named it ‘Miss Fredensborg’. It is Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik’s anniversary gift to each other.
