Japanese Princess Mako has been in Bhutan the past few days on an official visit, and on Friday she met with the country’s King and Queen at the Tashichhodzong.

Following their audience, the royal party travelled to Lingkana Palace for luncheon. They then posed for photographs in the gardens of the Palace, where they were joined by the adorable 16-month-old Prince Jigme Namgyel, son of King Jigme Khesar and Queen Jetsun Pema.

Later in the day, Princess Mako was present for the opening of ‘Japan Week’ at the Clock Tower in Thimpu.
