Máxima and Mozah Attend ‘Law, Education and The SDGs’ Seminar in The Hague
In The Hague on Friday, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands was joined by Qatar’s Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser for an international seminar on education at The Hague Institute for Global Justice.
The seminar – ‘Law, Education and The SDGs’ – aim is to bring attention to education in countries currently involved in armed conflict or insecurity, to discuss children’s rights to an education despite the circumstances of their surroundings.
The two women are both involved with the United Nations: Queen Maxima is the Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance, while Sheikha Mozah is an advocate of their Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Queen Máxima, who later helped her husband welcome the President of Mozambique, wore a royal blue dress with large bell sleeves from Roksanda, while the Sheikha wore an ensemble of pale pink and black.
