Queen Rania Checks Out Healthy Awareness Campaigns

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah chaired the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS)’s annual Board of Trustees Meeting. The meeting took part during her visit to the Ballas Secondary School for Girls in Ajloun Governorate. Upon arrival, Queen Rania was welcomed by the Director of the society, Ms. Hanin Odeh, and the Ballas Secondary School for Girls Principal, Ms. Hanan Ayoub

During the board meeting, Queen Rania reviewed updates on Nestlé’s Ajyal Salima program and the Healthy Kitchen Project which aims to raise awareness in schools throughout Jordan.

After the meeting, Queen Rania watched fourth and fifth graders from different schools take part in the health awareness activities by the Nestlé’s Ajyal Salima program.

Queen Rania met with a few teachers before she concluded the visit.

After the school visit, Queen Rania went across the street to the Ballas Charitable Society. During the visit, she looked at some of the Healthy Kitchen Project’s. She was welcomed by the President of the society, Mr. Mohammad Ananbeh. He introduced Queen Rania to a few local women who help prepare healthy school meals for schools in the area.

The Royal Health Awareness Society is a Queen Rania initiative established in 2005.
