More Celebrations In Norway!

The 80th birthday celebrations of the Norwegian King and Queen continued on Wednesday, as their royal guests were treated to a cruise around the Oslo Fjord while enjoying lunch on the royal yacht Norge.

King Harald and Queen Sonja and the guests present at the previous evening’s gala boarded the yacht from the Oslo Harbour, posing for photos upon arrival before climbing into smaller boats to cross the water to the yacht.

In the evening, the Norwegian government hosted a black-tie dinner at the Opera as their present to the royal couple. King Harald and Queen Sonja travelled to the Opera from the Royal Palace, with music performers lining the route and providing a welcome to the guests as they arrived to the Opera (which Spain’s King Juan Carlos thoroughly enjoyed!) The night ended with a grand fireworks display.
