The Countess of Wessex in Estonia, Day Two
On her second and final day in Estonia, the Countess of Wessex visited the Tapa Army Base to see soldiers from the 5th Battalion The Rifles, of which she is Royal Colonel.
Sophie, in a camouflage jacket, chatted with soldiers in the logistics hub and living quarters during her visit, where they told her of their work. She also was shown tanks used by the regiment, and met soldiers from Estonia, Denmark and France that are also stationed at the base.
The 5th Battalion The Rifles are in Estonia as part of a NATO exercise.
