Princess Charlène Goes Retro In Black and White Stripes At Races In South Africa
The Princess of Monaco was present for the first HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco Ladies Day at the Turffontein Racecourse in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday April 22.
Charlène, accompanied by her brother Sean Wittstock, watched a number of races and presented the winning jockeys and trainers with their trophies at the end of each race. She opted for a retro outfit consisting of a black and white stripped midi-dress from one of her favourite designers Akris, and a baker-boy style hat. A pair of heels from Giuseppe Zanotti and red lipstick completed the retro-feel of the outfit (which also immediately gave off jailbird vibes!).
The race day was used as a charity event, raising money for the South African Red Cross Society, the Gugulesizwe Primary School and the Highveld Horse Care Unit.
