Crown Princess Victoria in Japan, Day Four
Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria has completed her working visit to Japan today. Her final day in the country was spent in Shiogama, north of Tokyo in the Miyagi Prefecture.
The Princess visited the Meiho Tuna Fishery, a Marine Stewardship Council certified fishing company, where she was given a tour of the company’s fish factory, seeing their processes in working with fish once it has been caught. Victoria was required to wear full protection gear during her tour, which included freezer rooms and warmer rooms.
It was then to the city’s Shinto Shrine, where Crown Princess Victoria lit candles alongside the Swedish Ambassador to Japan, Magnus Robach.
