Crown Princess Victoria in Japan, Day Three
Following the Spanish King and Queen’s footsteps, it was Crown Princess Victoria’s turn to meet a robot today on the third day of her visit to Japan.
The Princess appeared delighted to meet with Pepper during a fika at the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo. “I’m sorry but I’m not smart enough to answer to your question. I’m going to study hard to be able to answer to your question on the next time,” the robot said to Victoria as she asked his inventor a question. The Princess laughed in response and said she would have to come back in the future.
She then joined the individuals who won the Embassy’s sustainable seas video competition, before they sat down for fika – coffee, tea and cakes.
Earlier in the day, Victoria visited the Tsukiji fish market, the world’s largest wholesale fish and seafood market.
