Princess Margaret’s Will To Remain Sealed, Judge Rules

The President of the Family Division of the High Court, Sir James Munby, has ruled that the late Princess Margaret’s will is to remain sealed, quashing an application by an individual claiming to be the Princess’s illegitimate daughter.

The judge called Malika Benmusa’s claim “a farrago of delusional nonsense”. His ruling was only four sentences long, which he correctly described as “historically short”. This is the second time this year Sir Munby has dismissed Ms Benmusa’s claim.

Wills of the royal family are sealed by the President of the Family Division of the High Court, who is the only person that can rule they be unsealed.

Ms Benmusa is not the first person to claim they are a child of Princess Margaret: Robert Brown has been claiming the late Princess is his biological mother for over a decade.
