Prince Felix Confirmed At Fredensborg Palace Church
Prince Felix of Denmark, the younger son of Prince Joachim and Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg, has had his confirmation at the Fredensborg Palace Church today, April 1.
Following the confirmation service that was presided over by Royal Chaplain Erik Norman Svendsen, the 14-year-old Prince posed for photos with his family outside the Church’s entrance. His parents both looked upon their son with pride, as did grandfather Prince Henrik. Felix’s two grandmothers – Queen Margrethe II and Christa Manley – appeared to have discussed their outfits prior to the event, as both were wearing aqua blue ensembles (while Prince Nikolai’s grey checkered suit was an instant eye-catcher).
Proud papa Prince Joachim said to the press that the service went well and that he was “very, very proud” of his middle son.
Official photographs were released later in the day after a lunch at the Palace for family and the Prince’s godparents: Christian Ahlefeldt-Laurvig, Oscar Davidsen Siesby, Damian Sibley, Martina Bent and Annick Boel.
