Middle Eastern Leaders Attend Arab League Summit In Amman
King Abdullah II of Jordan was the hosting head of state of the 28th Arab League Summit held on Wednesday in Amman.
Among those attending the summit were King Salman bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia; King Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain; the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani; and the Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, representing the UAE.
The new United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, was also present.
The main topics of the summit was a resolution for the Israel-Palestine conflict, combating terrorism, and the Syrian refugee crisis.
