Queen Rania Enjoys A Day Surrounded By Children
Jordan’s Queen Rania on Tuesday paid a visit to several new projects of the Queen Rania Family and Child Centre initiative.
The Queen toured projects that allows children from across Jordan to learn new skills – in literacy, social communication, financial knowledge, art, gardening – and provide them with a space where they, along with their parents, can learn ” concepts of child abuse prevention through hands-on activities”.
Among those Queen Rania spoke with were Syrian refugees, who informed the Queen how the centres improved their children’s communication skills.
The QRFCC, established in 2005, is run by the Jordan River Foundation. Over 250,000 people have utilised the QRFCC’s services in the past 12 years.
