Swedish King Presents Dairy Farmer Awards in Stockholm
King Carl XVI Gustaf present the LRF Dairy Association’s Gold Medal awards on Monday March 27 in a ceremony at the Swedish Society of Medicine. Queen Silvia was also present for the awards.
39 dairy farmers from around the country won Gold Medals for the 2016 year. To qualify for a gold medal, the farmers must have supplied “top quality milk from health cows for at least twenty-three years”.
Lars-Inge Gunnarsson from Halland County was named Dairy Farmer of the Year.
