Princess Anne’s Granddaughters Enjoy A Day At Gatcombe Horse Trials
The three energiser bunnies Princess Anne calls granddaughters enjoyed a day of sunshine on the first day of the Gatcombe Horse Trials today, as they watched their mother/aunt compete in the event.
Savannah and Isla Phillips and Mia Tindall spent the day chasing each other around the grassy paddocks, picking flowers, patting dogs and enjoying a crepe treat, as the Princess Royal, Sir Timothy Laurence, Peter and Autumn Phillips, and Mike Tindall kept a close eye on the youngster.
Zara Tindall was riding the horse Rum Expectations for day one, finishing in second place of the Novice Section B grading. She will ride three horses – High Kingdom, Fernhill Facetime and Drops of Brandy – for tomorrow’s events.
