Prince George Set To Attend Thomas’s Battersea School in September
Kensington Palace today announced that Prince George, the three-year-old son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will begin primary school in September at Thomas’s Battersea in South London.
“TRH are delighted to have found a school where they are confident George will have a happy and successful start to his education,” the statement read. The youngster currently attends a Montessori nursery school in Norfolk.
The co-educational preparatory school educates 540 pupils aged 4-13. Its headmaster, Ben Thomas, said the school was “greatly looking forward to welcoming him [George] and all of our new pupils to the school in September.”
It is thought Thomas’s Battersea was selected by William and Catherine due to it being co-ed, which will allow Princess Charlotte, almost two, to attend the kindergarten on the same site in a few months.
