Prince Carl Philip & Princess Sofia Inaugurate New Fryshuset

In Husby, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia today inaugurated the new Fryshuset recreational centre. The organisation offers young people who feel excluded from society a place to gather and take part in activities.

The couple toured the facilities and saw what youths can do when they visit a Fryshuset centre – they were shown a boxing class, and the kitchens where dishes are prepared using produce that is nearing its expiration date to minimise waste.

Both royals gave a brief speech at the opening, highlighting the important social value that Fryshuset centres provide the Swedish communities.
