Princess Mette-Marit Helps Launch Educational App For Syrian Children

Norway’s Crown Princess was today involved in the launch of a new app designed to help children fleeing the war in Syria learn to read.

Joining Prime Minister Erna Solberg at her residence in Oslo, Mette-Marit watched as young children were shown the app and learnt how to play the games that teach them how to spell and read in Norwegian. The children then showed the adults how the apps work.

The Norwegian government is considering developing the app into other languages.
